EME Power Systems – 2025 in Review: Reliability, Resilience and a Season of Good Will

15th December 2025

As 2025 draws to a close, EME Power Systems reflects on a busy and productive year, providing essential high-voltage support, compliance-driven maintenance, emergency response, and installation services across the UK. Through every project, our commitment to safety, reliability, and continuity of supply has remained steadfast.

Some highlights of the year:

  • Comprehensive Maintenance & Risk Management – We reinforced our dedication to robust asset care through our maintenance-package offering and delivering tailored HV maintenance programmes to clients across England, Scotland and Wales. These packages ensure network resilience and help organisations meet their statutory obligations under safety and compliance legislation.
  • Proactive Transformer Health Checks – Our “Transformer Oil Sampling Analysis” services provided essential, non-intrusive “health checks” for transformer assets. This vital work helps detect early warning signs of potential faults, supporting long-term asset life, preventing failure and unplanned outages, and avoiding costly emergency call-outs.
  • Turnkey Responses & Rapid Fault Remediation – Throughout the year, we responded to urgent faults, including one example, a significant 11 kV switchgear failure in July. Our rapid, full-turnkey solution restored supplies to a business park, demonstrating our ability to respond effectively under pressure and deliver minimal downtime for clients.
  • Support for Critical Infrastructure & Industry – From supporting UK agriculture with new “eco-transformer” installations to maintaining power for stadiums and entertainment venues, our engineers have worked tirelessly to ensure essential services stay powered and compliant.
  • Commitment Through the Festive Period – Even during the Christmas and New Year periods, a time when many businesses are closed, our team remain on call and active. Between 21 December and 4 January last year, we undertook multiple transformer replacements under planned shutdown windows, turning what is often a quiet period into an opportunity to deliver essential maintenance and improvement works.

Extending our support beyond power:

In the spirit of this festive season, EME Power Systems has donated Christmas hampers to Lincoln Age UK. Age UK supports older people across the UK, offering practical services, companionship, advice on financial and medical matters, and efforts to reduce loneliness and isolation.

We are proud to contribute to their work: these hampers are intended to bring a little extra warmth and cheer to those who need it most during the holidays. It’s our way of recognising that as we deliver critical infrastructure support to businesses and industry, we also have the opportunity, and responsibility, to give back to our communities.

Looking ahead:

As we move into 2026, EME Power Systems remains committed to delivering dependable, compliant, and efficient power services year-round. Whether it’s scheduled maintenance, urgent fault response, or infrastructure upgrades, our engineers will stand ready.

We want to thank all our clients and partners for their continued trust and collaboration over the past twelve months — and wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a safe, peaceful and prosperous New Year.
